Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 May 2026

1. About Bcarda

Bcarda (bcarda.com) is operated by Bcarda, an unregistered trading name based in New Zealand ("we", "us", "our"). By using Bcarda you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Bcarda does

Bcarda lets you create digital business cards, share them via QR code or link, and capture and manage contacts you make at events. Bcarda is a networking and contact management tool — it does not provide professional, legal, or business advice.

3. Eligibility

You must have a valid Google or LinkedIn account to use Bcarda. By signing in you confirm that you are the authorised holder of the account you connect.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Bcarda — your cards, contacts, and events. By using the service you grant Bcarda a non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to provide the service to you and to the people you share your cards with.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your cards and for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Bcarda for your personal and professional networking. You must not:

  • Create cards that impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
  • Use a slug or card that belongs to another person without their authorisation.

6. No warranty

Bcarda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Bcarda will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Bcarda at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use Bcarda ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of Bcarda after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
